This Blog Is Not For You
Unless it is.
Let me tell you who juxtaConversation is not for.
It’s not for the twenty-something who’s already all-in. The one who has three AI subscriptions, a GitHub full of projects, and an opinion about every new model that drops. You’re doing beautifully. You don’t need me.
It’s not for the CEO who needs to understand AI at a strategic level. Not for the MD who wants a briefing document. Not for the board member looking for a framework. There are consultants for that. Expensive ones. They’ll give you the acronyms and the diagrams and the roadmap. That’s not what happens here.
It’s not for the go-getter who’s already pivoting their entire career toward AI, the entrepreneur who’s building the next thing, the person who woke up six months ago and decided to become an AI founder. You’re moving fast and I love that for you. But you’re not who I’m writing for.
It’s not for the person who’s already decided AI is dangerous and nothing will change their mind. I’m not here to argue. I’m not here to convert. I’m not here to win a debate.
juxtaConversation is for the person who is none of those things.
You’re the one who’s been hearing about AI for months — maybe years — and you know, somewhere in a quiet part of yourself, that you should probably understand it better. You’re not sure why. You’re not sure what you’d do with it. You just have a feeling that the world is moving and you’re standing still, and that bothers you more than you want to admit.
You might be somewhere in the middle of your life, or past the middle. You might have had a career that looked one way and now looks different. You might be retired, or redirected, or just restless. You might be someone who spent decades being competent and capable and the person everyone called — and now you’re in territory where you don’t quite know what you’re doing, and that’s unfamiliar and uncomfortable.
You’re not stupid. You’re not a technophobe. You’re not against progress.
You’re just a little out of your depth. And you need a little push.
That’s who this is for.
Not the experts. Not the executives. Not the evangelists.
Just the ordinary, everyday human who deserves to understand what’s happening in the world — and who might, with the right conversation, discover they’re capable of more than they thought.
That person is exactly who I was, not very long ago.
This blog is the push I wish I’d had.

She spent decades being the person everyone called when something was broken, confusing, or just needed explaining properly — earning a reputation that preceded her wherever she went. Now she’s channelling that same instinct into AI: making it accessible, practical, and genuinely useful for people who think it isn’t for them.
