Sandi, I love this because I also believe we should start right from where we are. I did a challenge once in my home, to explain as many AI concepts I could from the items inside my apartment. My TV remote became MCP, the artificial flowers because hallucinations, and more! AI and app ideas are already all around us, especially if we start looking.
What a fun idea. I'll have to try it myself. Whilst you used it for remembering AI concepts, I'm going to try and use my loungeroom for generating App ideas. and Post ideas.
What you're doing sounds very similar to the practice of assigning items in a room (A Memory Palace) to items/numbers/situations which you want to remember. MemoryOS is an App I once used for this.
